Grin 11th Birthday Wheel – Terms & Conditions

To celebrate Grin’s 11th birthday, we’re giving customers the chance to spin our Birthday Wheel and win a birthday reward.

The Grin 11th Birthday Wheel runs from 15 October to 31 October 2026.

1. How to Enter

  • Enter a valid email address on the Grin Birthday Wheel.
  • Each email address can spin once only during the promotion period.
  • Both new and existing Grin customers can participate.
  • Every valid spin wins one reward.
  • Rewards are randomly assigned by the Birthday Wheel.
  • No purchase is required to spin.

To enter the Birthday Wheel, you must tick the checkbox confirming that you agree to receive marketing emails from Grin. You may unsubscribe at any time.

2. Birthday Wheel Rewards

  • 20% OFF
  • 25% OFF
  • 30% OFF
  • NZ$10 OFF
  • NZ$50 OFF

Some rewards are available in limited quantities and are subject to availability.

A limited reward is counted as issued when it is won, whether or not it is later redeemed. Once the allocated quantity has been issued, that reward will no longer be available.

No particular reward is guaranteed.

3. Reward Validity

Every Birthday Wheel reward is valid for 14 days from the time it is issued.

The Birthday Wheel closes on 31 October 2026, but rewards won before the promotion closes remain valid for their full 14-day validity period.

For example, a reward won on 31 October remains valid for 14 days from the time it is issued.

After the 14-day validity period ends, the reward expires and cannot be used, extended or reissued.

All promotion dates and times are based on New Zealand local time.

4. Percentage Discount Rewards

  • 20% OFF
  • 25% OFF
  • 30% OFF

These rewards:

  • are valid for 14 days from the time they are issued;
  • can be used once only;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • cannot be transferred or sold;
  • cannot be used on Hero Deals;
  • cannot be combined with another product or order discount.

Only one discount code can be used once only per order.

5. NZ$10 OFF and NZ$50 OFF

NZ$10 OFF and NZ$50 OFF are single-use fixed-value discount codes.

These rewards:

  • are valid for 14 days from the time they are issued;
  • can be used once only;
  • can be used on Hero Deals;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • cannot be transferred or sold;
  • cannot be combined with another discount code.

Unused Discount Value

NZ$10 OFF and NZ$50 OFF do not retain a remaining balance after use.

If the order value is lower than the discount amount, the unused amount is lost.

The unused amount:

cannot be carried over to another order;

  • cannot be refunded;
  • cannot be converted into cash;
  • cannot be restored;
  • cannot be used again.

For example, if an NZ$10 OFF reward is used on an NZ$8 order, the remaining NZ$2 is lost.

6. Hero Deals

During Phase 2 of Grin’s 11th Anniversary campaign, selected products and bundles will be offered as Hero Deals, with discounts of up to 50%.

There is no sitewide 20% discount during Phase 2.

The following rules apply:

  • NZ$10 OFF can be used on Hero Deals.
  • NZ$50 OFF can be used on Hero Deals.
  • Percentage discount rewards cannot be used on Hero Deals. Please refer to Section 4 for full discount conditions.

Products, prices and availability may change between rotations.

Hero Deals are available while stocks last.

7. Combining Discounts

Only one Birthday Wheel discount code can be used per order.

Birthday Wheel rewards cannot be combined with another promotional discount code.

This means:

  • 20% OFF cannot be combined with another discount.
  • 25% OFF cannot be combined with another discount.
  • 30% OFF cannot be combined with another discount.
  • NZ$10 OFF cannot be combined with another discount code.
  • NZ$50 OFF cannot be combined with another discount code.

NZ$10 OFF and NZ$50 OFF can still be used on Hero Deals because Hero Deal pricing is already reflected in the promotional product price.

8. Subscription Orders

Birthday Wheel rewards cannot be used on subscription orders.

They can only be used on one-time purchases.

9. Order Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

If an order using a Birthday Wheel reward is cancelled, returned or refunded:

  • the refund will be based on the amount actually paid by the customer after the discount was applied;
  • the promotional discount itself is not treated as money paid by the customer;
  • the discount code used for the original order will not be reissued or reinstated;
  • the original 14-day validity period will not restart or be extended.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights available to consumers under applicable consumer law.

10. Duplicate Entries and Misuse

Each email address can participate once.

Grin may cancel an entry or reward if there is evidence of:

  • duplicate or repeated entries;
  • use of false or invalid email addresses;
  • manipulation or attempted manipulation of the Birthday Wheel;
  • misuse or unauthorised sharing of promotional codes;
  • automated participation;
  • fraudulent activity;
  • deliberate use of a technical error or system limitation to obtain additional rewards.

11. Technical Issues

Grin is not responsible for participation being interrupted by internet connection problems, browser issues, device problems, email delivery problems or other technical issues outside Grin’s reasonable control.

If a technical error causes:

  • an incorrect reward to be issued;
  • the same reward to be issued more than once;
  • more rewards to be issued than intended;
  • an incorrect discount value to be generated;
  • a reward to be issued outside the promotion settings.

Grin may cancel or correct the affected reward.

12. Email Marketing and Privacy

Participation in the Birthday Wheel requires you to opt in to receive marketing emails from Grin by ticking the consent checkbox. 

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.

13. Changes to the Promotion

Grin may amend, suspend or end the Birthday Wheel if this is required because of:

  • technical problems;
  • system errors;
  • misuse or fraudulent activity;
  • circumstances outside Grin’s reasonable control;
  • operational issues that prevent the promotion from continuing as intended.

Rewards that have already been validly issued will retain their original 14-day validity period.

A reward may be cancelled if it was issued because of fraud, misuse or a technical error.
